Rules
Buy-In and Cashouts
The buy-in each season is $100.00 payable by Apple Cash prior to the keeper deadline (30 days before the draft)
Weeks 1-14 (regular season), the top scoring team of the week will earn $25.00
Weeks 14 (end of regular season), the top 2 seeds will each earn $100.00
At the end of Week 17 (championship):
The loser of the championship will earn $100.00
The winner of the championship will earn $250.00
Draft
The Draft takes place at 10 AM PST on the Saturday of Labor Day Weekend each year
Draft order is determined accordingly:
After Week 13
Division Winners
Picks 9 and 10 are assigned to the two division winners
Pick 10 will go to the division winner with the best record
If overall records are the same, Points For, and then Points Against serve as the tie breaker
All other teams
Picks 1-8 are awarded to the non-division winners; regardless of division
Pick 1 goes to the team with the worst record
If overall records are the same, Points For, and then Points Against serve as the tie breaker
Pick 8 will go to the best team who didn't win their division
If overall records are the same, Points For, and then Points Against serve as the tie breaker
Keepers
You can keep up to three (3) players from last season
Keepers must be selected directly in the Sleeper App at least one (1) month in advance of the draft
Keepers are locked after the deadline and cannot be edited for any reason. If you wish to drop a keeper due to injury or otherwise, you may do so after the draft concludes.
You cannot keep a player who was drafted in the first-round of last year's draft
Keeping any other player will cost you a pick in this year's draft (one round sooner than their position last year)
If, through trade or otherwise, you keep two players who were drafted in the same round, keeping them will cost you the two previous round picks this year unless you have acquired two picks in the appropriate round. For this reason, unless you have two first round picks, you can only keep one player who was drafted in the 2nd round of last year's draft.
Keeping undrafted players (picked up through waivers) will cost you your last pick in this year's draft
Keeping multiple undrafted players (picked up through waivers) will cost you your subsequent last picks in this year's draft
You can communicate with the commissioner regarding which round you'd like each undrafted player to count against with future years' keeper consideration in mind
Each year, the players' keeper status is determined by the previous year's draft, for example:
You draft Joe Smith in the 3rd Round in 2020
You keep Joe Smith in 2021 giving up your 2nd Round Pick
In 2022, you keep Joe Smith again, but this time owe your 1st Round Pick (one round sooner than last year)
Joe Smith will now be a first-round pick, and unable to be kept in 2023

Extra Game against the median
Each week, a 2nd matchup will occur each regular-season week.
This allows the top scoring teams of the week to gain an additional win, while the other half gets hit with a loss.
The purpose is to help create a fairer option for those times where you finish in the top half of scoring, but you still lost to someone who scored more than you. You would at least go 1-1 for the week instead of 0-1.

Manager Transitions / Expansion Teams
If a team manager resigns or is terminated during the offseason, the commissioner will designate a new team manager. This new manager will inherit all player rights and keeper privileges for the upcoming season, and they will be assigned the draft position of the previous team based on their ranking from the previous year.
Precedent set 2021.
In the event that the league introduces extra teams (expansion teams) during the offseason, without removing any existing teams, the newly appointed managers of these teams will not be granted any keeper privileges in their inaugural year. They will participate in the draft at the conclusion of the pre-established order, determined by the rankings from the previous year.
Precedent set 2023.
